Mrsweeza, this is ridiculous, maybe you need to go back over to Tom Voigt's message board because I think you are here to try and disrupt this board.
Have I EVER been mean to you? No. Was my statement disregarding your statements? Again, NO. Have I ever insulted you? Never.
I was QUITE SIMPLY explaining it IS possible for TWO sets of DNA to be on a stamp by accident. I was NOT giving YOUR CASE as an example, just stating it is possible for there to be cross contamination on an envelope. BTW, cross contamination with DNA present can result from more then just licking an envelope, but that's nit picking.
Again, I was pointing something out about a scientific reality, so please show how that was contrary to your statement. I never discounted it or said it was not possible, now did I? |

Reply with quote | #21 | Well, if the hood is good, I bet there is blood DNA on it! Maybe some of Jack's DNA inside. Something to test there. If one would give up that hood. (CHILL) DNA on that knife to. I don't know if I would give anything up. Wonder what it would cost to do it without FBI help.
Still no news on D.B. Cooper. Finger prints and DNA! Our FBI. Going on two months. |

Reply with quote | #25 | So Sonoma County had the knife from 2002-2007, did nothing with it, then just returned it to Dennis? |

Reply with quote | #29 | The Riverside piece is interesting and to the point re: trying to link Bates and the dna. I suppose even if it is proven Bates was murdered by JT it does not prove he was Z yet. Z may have taken credit for the murder with his later letter just to gain attention. He may have taken credit for all the murders for that matter and not be the murderer. Also true for Stine murder. While the murderer did possess his shirt piece, it does not prove Z was the murderer. It only proves HE was a murderer. Unless DNA is tied to all letters and same man. It will be interesting to see if LE irrefutably can tie any of these together for certain. Z just saying so with letters doesn't prove it. |

Reply with quote | #30 | Nalabindi, there is enough evidence linking Jack to Zodiac even without DNA, however if Jack's DNA matches the DNA taken from the crime scene of Cheri Bates, end of story. If you still think Jack is not the zodiac, oh well! Find another hobby... |
