Jacks Favorite Songs

In the NORA thread Trustno1 asked what Jack's favorite song was? Trustno1, there were a few songs that Jack would sing, and one of those songs I remember some of the lyrics, but not sure of it's title. My mother hated this song....

But there was one song that I would say was his favorite, I am not sure of it's title but here is some of the lyrics.

There were some songs that Jack played on the harmonica as well, some of these songs are, Devil Woman, and Home Sweet Home.

Jack used to talk about someone named "Billy T" that he knew that supposedly wrote some of Merle Haggards songs.

I think the work done at this MB in various threads solving ciphers, linking handwriting, JACK images, finding clues in communications, by several people deserve it's own thread so those online can look at the synopsis of posts as to why it's logical to think John "Jack" Walker Tarrance Jr. is Zodiac Killer. FBI, LE, Media, opposing site runners....take a wide-eyed open look because here it is:

Hi all,

This may have been covered before on this MB, but I recently came across what appears to me to be some sort of a disconnect regarding the Lake Berryessa murder. Namely, how is it that Z knew which car belonged to Brian Hartnell? From what I understand, there were quite a number of people there on that day (Sunday was the 40th anniversary of the attack, btw), which would probably translate into a fairly sizeable number of vehicles.

What evidence supports JT as LK

This is what I have come up with, and in my mind suggests that we take a deeper look into the Lipstick Killings.

1. 2nd victim was a member of the US Navy when all came home from war.

2. Spelling errors are consistent with Zodiac "waite".

3. Lower case "n" as found in the Channel Nine letter.

4. Backwards letter "t" in the wall writings. (We know Z loved backwards writing)

5. Capital A used in lower case writing (we can see that JT has always gone to great lengths to hide his special "a".

6. Statement by LK, " cannot control myself". (Zodiac plea for help)

8. Lower case cursive "m" has individual characteristic that are similar to JT's lower case cursive "m".

7. MO is similar to BD, bisected. (Look at the BD writing and judge for yourself)

8. Butcher Knife suspected choice of weapon for LK and BD.

9. JT says he had visited 28 states by the time he was 16. (My question is with who?)

10. JT also states that most of the mean things he had done were done before he left in the military the first time, and before he married his first wife!

Does anyone know when he married his first wife? I don't know if he means the one here in the US or the Japanese bride he took during his very short stint in WWII.

Hey all, sorry if this is posted elsewhere and I didn't see it, but tomorrow night on the History Channel there is a special on the Zodiac. It is called Mystery Quest "San Francisco Slaughter". Here is the synopsis:

"A series of unsolved murders. A cryptic set of clues. A dead end at every corner. The serial killer known as the Zodiac long terrorized the residents of the San Francisco Bay area while taunting police. He was never caught. Now our team of investigators have identified a new suspect, and with the aid of a groundbreaking new DNA technology have the chance to come one step closer to finally solving the mystery of this murderous crime spree. " At 10PM, not sure if that is PST or what...I think in the Midwest it is at 8:00PM.

AGAIN, Sorry, if this is posted elsewhere, I did a quick look but didn't see it. Got this info from TV's site.....yikes...but if you Google the History Channel, it lists it.

Coed Slain in Santa Barbara Hills

A pretty hitchhiker died of gunshot wounds on an operating table in Santa Barbara yesterday shortly after she was found on Coyote road in the hills overlooking the city.

Homicide detectives said at least five bullets -- fired pointblank -- struck Karen Ann Signore, 21, who last month had withdrawn as a student at the nearby University of California campus.

"I was hitchhiking," were the only words Miss Signore managed to gasp out to William Richardson, a motorist who spotted her body just off the roadway, before she lapsed into unconsciousness. The young woman was taken to St. Francis Hospital in Santa Barbara where she died shortly after midnight while undergoing emergency surgery.

Detectives said bullets fired by the killer struck Miss Signore in an arm, a leg, stomach, chest and back. There was no immediate indication of a motive.

Detective Sergeant Homer Aguilar of the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's office said the "direction of the investigation at this stage is to try and find out where the victim was picked up - from that we may find out who picked her up and then, most brutally, killed her."

Miss Signore, whose parents live in Bonita, San Diego county, enrolled at UCSB in 1968 as an English major. She was taking junior class courses at the time she decided to drop out of school for, friends told police, "personal reasons." She lived in an apartment in Isla Vista, a community of students next to the campus.

Aguilar was checking out reports of gunfire, sounding like a high-powered rifle, heard in the Santa Barbara Hills over the weekend. He said it had not been determined whether Miss Signore had been shot with a pistol or rifle.

Dying Girls Last Words at Hospital

Karen Ann Signore spoke a few words to hospital officials before she died, Sheriff's Sergeant Homer Aguilar disclosed yesterday. Aguilar would not disclose what she told hospital personnel before she died early Tuesday.

Aguilar said it was learned that Miss Signore, 21, who attended the University until April, had left her Isla Vista apartment Monday evening, hitchhiked to downtown Santa Barbara, and spent some time at a sauna at the City Recreation Center.

His theory of events after that is that Miss Signore was picked up while hitchhiking back to Isla Vista, taken to a lonely stretch of Coyote road in the hills behind the city and shot.

Four .22 caliber gunshot wounds in the upper chest and abdomen were disclosed by an autopsy.

Coed Was Slain Minutes after Ride

Pretty UC dropout Karen Ann Signore was slain within ten minutes of being picked up while hitchhiking Monday night, lawmen revealed yesterday.

Sheriff's Inspector Peter Zanella said, "It was just as if somebody were driving around with this purpose in mind -- to pick up somebody and kill them."

Zanella said a woman motorist gave the 21-year- old Miss Signore a ride to a crossroads in Montecito, in the hills east of here, about 9:45 p.m. A few minutes after 10 p.m. she was found a mile away, on lonely Coyote road.

Detectives also revealed that a stolen Volkswagen was found in a field about a half-mile from where Miss Signore was found. Suspicious "spots" in the car are being chemically analyzed, they said.

Miss Signore grew up in Westport, Conn., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Domenico Signore, who now live in Bonita in San Diego county. She dropped out of the University of California at Santa Barbara last month, and had been working as a model, lawmen said.

Forgive me for creating this topic but I couldn't decided whether to post BD comments in the Richard Larsen thread or the Responses to Jacks Handwriting thread.

Z IMO did not have a strict MO as most would say!

So, let's theorize for just a moment!

Let's say this was the first kill, or one of the first...

It would make sense that it would mimic an animal because this is where JT obtained his obsession with killing.

It would also make sense that this MO would be very strenuous. If you have ever hunted, and brought in a deer or an elk, then you know it is a humongous task. Just like the task that was accomplished on BD.

So, it isn't hard to believe that he moved onto easier and least likely to get caught methods while still getting his thrill.

The shooting is obvious game hunting, what happened at LB is more like pig hunting, and BD is like deer hunting.....

This is definitely where I am out on a limb, but hunting strikes me as the game here. I have never felt that JT was insane.

While there are some similarities between BD and Z, there are also many profound differences that IMHO show they are 2 different killers. From what I remember, the BD murder included:

- A substantial amount of torture including knife/scapel slashes, cigaratte burns(?), head trauma and as Barman pointed out, the victim was forced to eat feces. Some really sick stuff.

- Elizabeth Short may have been held captived and tortured for hours or days. There were several days where she was unaccounted for prior to the discovery of her body.

- The body was not only drained of blood but it was washed or cleaned. I can't remember if this was due to the killer being obsessed with cleanliness or an extra step to removing evidence. In either case, it's a sign of a well organized and planned murder.

- The lower body was posed with the legs spread eagle. This was interpreted as a way to further humilate the victim or women in general.

- The killer was profiled as having a tremendous amount of rage and hatred towards women.

If JT was stationed in San Diego at the time and commited the murder:

- He would have to have access to a car or transportation to get to LA as well move a body around

- He would need an isolated or private location for a long period to torture, cut, drain and clean the body.

i seen on the webs that there is a new z book coming out called most evil

now i no this websight is about jack but what is intrstng about the new book is that some doc examiner has linked zodiacs' handwriting to a guy named george hodel

The 2nd victim I have tentatively identified as Rose Lena Cole, who disappeared in 1973. Dennis and I have notified the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and her next of kin. We told them what we were going to do, which was to turn the film over to the FBI for confirmation. The film was developed in February, 2009, and we dropped it off at the FBI office in Sacramento in late March. The FBI has the negatives, digitally-enhanced prints I made from those negatives, and hand-sketched tracings of what I saw in the images. I am 99% sure that the young woman in the film is Rose Cole."

Could someone please point me in the right direction to see the picture believed to be Rose Cole? I, along with many other people, have been working with the family of Rose Cole for about 3 years now. We would appreciate you sharing any information that you may have with us.

Hey everyone..have not been around for a few weeks, just wanted to see if there were any new tidbits of info?? Any news on the excavation?

Also I was watching a show on the Son of Sam last week and it reminded me of a topic brought up about the Zodiac.

Late in the 1970's, Satanism was becoming quite popular throuhout the country. In New York, the Son of Sam shootings occured and David Berkowitz was arrested as the killer. Now, he gives this interview sayong that he was involved in a Satanic cult and that he was present at all the killings, but did not pull the trigger on all of them. Now, As in that case we have some similarities with the Z case. There are a few different composites that have been passed through the years that could have been Z and also a few different car models that are associated to the crimes. Berkowitz claimed that many more people are involved in these Satanic groups than we know and that members are killed frequnetly over secrecy...even Berkowitz had an attempt on his life and nearly had his throat slashed. Anyways I am rambling, what if Zodiac was a group of Satanists and that explains the ease of escape for the killer(s) as they had many modes of transportation and other people to bein the area of the crimes to throw off any eyewitness accounts.

My question for Dennis is...Since Jack was involved in the drug scene and had some very strange habits..do you believe that he could have been involved in a Satanic cult and maybe have been their executioner?? Sorry if this is regurgitating an old idea as it just kind of pooped up in front of my face one day..and I believe it to be very easy to try and dismiss things of this nature because no one really wants to believe that these things still exist today in this kind of manner(ritual sacrifice..and so forth).

Holy crap, what an explosion. First thank you JoAnne for defending me, I appreciate it. Dennis, you are a cool dude, I thought I was banned but apparently I am not. Truly you do allow open debate.

Let me clarify and address Nanette's accusations and then I will not post again (unless I have to defend myself). As I remember it, in the most recent exchange between me and Nanette Barto she mentioned something to the extend of bragging to be an expert. I had had enough, and decided to check out her education once and for all. I wanted to see if she was the expert she claimed to be. I googled her name and a page with her education came up and I had the information I needed to address her latest attack. It took me all of 30 seconds to obtain this information from over 400 miles away.

Now, I grew up in Sacramento, still have family in Sacramento and go rafting in the area each year as there are many great rivers there. I take my family into Old Sacramento on each vacation. From Rancho Cordova, you have to travel down the 50 freeway which drives right by American River College. All you have to do is turn your head right and you'll see it, its like seeing a McDonald's from the freeway, the school is directly adjacent to the 50 freeway.

SO, I am not stalking Mrs Barto, I couldn't care less about her or her personal life. She claimed to be an expert so I wanted to verify her claim, that's all, nothing more to it! I have the right to enter Sacramento to see my family each year--believe it or not! I'll be there again next summer rafting with my family. In fact I plan on going up each year. I can't believe the fuss on this board, unbelievable.

It has come to our attention as to how the message board is being hacked. We are investigating it as we speak. It is a good idea to set the message board home page as a favorite, and use it to access the site.

DO NOT, AND I REPEAT DO NOT USE THE EMAIL LINKS YOU RECEIVE TO GAIN ACCESS.......

A few message board members have talked with me in regards to this same email issue. I saw it first hand a couple of days ago, and notified Dennis immediately. I had stopped using the links in my email because it was much quicker to go straight in, but then I was responding to some emails, and decided to go in off an email. The second I hit the board my computer shot a huge red message up that a virus was attempting to gain access. I had not seen it before because my old computer did not have this fine of security system that would warn me, and after I got this computer, I wasn't accessing the board through this method until the day I found out.... :)

We would like to see everyone's personal belongings stay safe because it is obvious that there are people out there that don't appreciate that we work hard for this stuff.
